The lowest version of .NET required for a client to support C # 7.0

If I want to use the new C # 7.0 features in my application code, what is the lowest version of .NET that must be installed on the client machine for my application to be able to run?

The language version (and language features) is not tied to the .NET version, and the CIL result should work well on every CLR. It is mainly syntactic sugar.

You have a list here, and I don’t see any language features that will depend on the CLR version.
