Xcode will not open "Required content for the Android platform is missing"

I tried to return to encoding today and ran into a supernatural error when opening Xcode, which says

"Required content for Platform Android is missing"
"Please reinstall Xcode"

I did something, and realized that this should be a bug coming from third-party software. I used to use Spritebuilder, and I recall some time ago when I tried to install the SBAndroid-Community package for publishing on Android devices.

Then I found this page on the Apple Developer Forums, which basically describes my problem perfectly

https://forums.developer.apple.com/thread/47245

The solution is to "delete the folder associated with Spritebuilder ~ Library / SBAndroid"

However, I do not see such a folder. I looked at the contents of Xcode, Spritebuilder, and my entire Mac to no avail.

  • I tried reinstalling Xcode - not working.
  • I tried to remove Spritebuilder by moving it to the trash, emptying it, deleting Xcode, going to garbage, emptying, reinstalling, and I still get the same error.

It seems that Xcode has a built-in framework that crashes, and reinstallation does not help.

Does anyone have any ideas on where to go next? I really have exhausted my knowledge on this subject, and I just want to open Xcode and start a new job.

Thank!

EDIT: I did not know that "~" was an alias for your home folder. I now found the ~ / Library folder, but there is no / SBAndroid folder in it. Still don't know what to do = (.

2: /SBAndroid ~/Library, Macintosh HD! Xcode.
