What happens if I exceed the maximum cookie limit

As far as I understand, there are two restrictions on the number of cookies:

• 20 cookies per unique host or domain name
• 300 cookies in total

What happens if I exceed one of these limits?

• If you exceed the host / domain limits, cookies simply won’t be saved .

• If you exceed the total number of cookies, your browser will warn you that the maximum number of cookies has been reached.
