Question

So I have a Button component

And I call this component in the Home component

Home.propTypes = {
    platform: React.PropTypes.string.isRequired
};

The problem is that if I enable PropTypes, I get an error message indicating that support for onPress is undefined.

I do not understand why I am getting this error. I comforted logof typeof onPress and it prints a function.

SEPTEMBER 2017 UPDATE

As of React 15.5, PropTypes has been ported to its own library. Use it like this:

import PropTypes from 'prop-types';

class Example extends React.Component {
  render() {
    return (
      <h1>{this.props.test}</h1>
    );
  }
}

Example.propTypes = {
  test: PropTypes.string
};
