Anticorruption Layer Exception Handling (ACL)

What is the recommended practice when writing an anti-corruption layer regarding exceptions?

Is it possible to say that exceptions should be wrapped / shielded, since any other interface aspects of the system (aka a limited context) become integrated?

The level of anti-corruption protection is here to prevent idioms and external system behavior from entering your restricted context. Therefore, it seems like a good idea to wrap the exceptions that come out of it into those that make sense for your BC.
