Using google domains when hosting a static site on aws s3

I installed many static sites on AWS / S3 with other domain registrars; however, google domains give me some problems.
The steps I took:
-in S3 / AWS:

  • created by bucket domainname.org
  • enabled static website hosting by adding index.html
  • Loaded index.html and related documents in bucket
  • create a bucket www.domainname.org to redirect to bucket domainname.org
  • The bucket policy for domainname.org is created as follows:

    {"Version": "2012-10-17", "Statement": [{"Sid": "AddPerm", "Effect": "Allow", "Principal": "," Action ": [" S3: GetObject "]," Resource ": [" ARN: AWS: s3: domainname.org/ "]}]}

on the google domain side

  • A CNAME record was created with the name www and with a data entry equal to the endpoint of the bucket "rightsrequest.org.s3-website-us-west-2.amazonaws.com"
  • Set TTL to 60 so that I can see the changes.

I can see the site at this endpoint, but it does not redirect / map to domainmae.org as expected. Usually this setting would be enough with other registrars

? S3/AWS google?
