Microsoft Azure Storage Explorer could not get keys for Reader Role user

I have an Azure Storage account and want to give reading access to a colleague. All identifiers are in the same Azure Active Directory, so it was easy to add it to the "Reader" role in the access control swan in the Azure portal.

When he opens Microsoft Azure Storage Explorer, the subscription and storage account are visible, but the node container for Blob Containers cannot be expanded. An exception:

Failed to get keys for vault account. Make sure you have the correct permissions.
