This may not be a very suitable question, but I will try.
When I try to dump my database from a remote server, my MySQL for MacOS workstation tells me:
Applications / MySQLWorkbench.app / Contents / MacOS / mysqldump - version 5.7.12, but the MySQL server to be reset has version 5.7.15. Since mysqldump is older than the server, some functions cannot be copied properly. It is recommended that you upgrade your local MySQL client programs, including mysqldump, to a version equal to or newer than the target server version. Then the path to the dump tool should be set in Settings → Admin → Path to mysqldump tool:
I have version 6.3 installed, and the built-in "update check" only tells me that I already have the latest version.
Does anyone know where I can go to download this new dump tool? I looked around at MySQL.com but could not find it.
