Alpha channels can contain anything, and transparency is a specific channel relationship.
And he also says
(transparency channels) Each image pixel is represented by a set of numerical values for visible dyes and one additional numerical value containing information about opacity.
It really confused me.
Do they store different data? Is the alpha channel stronger than the transparency channel?
