To add some new features to our application, we had to upgrade to the SDK and Build-Tools 25, which also require updating JDK 1.8. After the update, we can no longer sign the APK, we get the following error:
The security strength of the SHA-1 digest algorithm is insufficient for this key size
Now we can fix this by creating a new key, but that means we can no longer update our APK in the store. Is there a better workaround? It seems like many people will hit on this soon.
