Forgot programming logic after mental breakdown

Backstory - If the depression lasted a long time, but the high school finals, ACT, a bunch of other exams, along with pressure on the job, caused something that caused an unpleasant mental breakdown. In addition, the number of pills I fed with my doctor to study longer hours, which is quite common among students in Asia.

So, basically after that, I could not look at the screens or even read books myself, without hallucinations and without questioning my own existence. This lasted 3 months and it took another 4 to return to normal.

The fact is that my memory was destroyed. I can’t remember the things that were obvious that happened before the mental illness, especially from the 7th grade to high school (when I learned to code and mess around with computers). received an internship, won a hackathon in high school, worked on a web scraping project and puzzle game.

What I understand, I still remember, for example, as syntax, but my brain cannot understand how to apply them even in such cases as for loops, in simple programming problems at the basic level, such as printing figures from characters in cmd.

Previously, this material was very simple to work with, so I want to return to the level I was at, because programming and messing around with computers was the only thing that I have loved since I was a teenager, and it didn’t even become simple. lose me sleep.

The worst part is that I signed up for a degree in computer engineering, and not that I will be engaged in the second year when we have subjects such as data structures, Turing machines, etc. I may have to refuse if something is going the way they are.

I don’t know where to start, because I just can’t apply what I know as before. I contacted this unit before for troubleshooting, so I hope you have amazing people to guide me through this hellish hole.

I forgot to mention that I can lose on the upcoming internship.
