Introduction layout inspector does not appear in preview does not work

Question

In android studio, when we use the layout installer, we have a hierarchy view panel on the left. I see in tutorials, if we right-click on a view in the hierarchy viewer, we have a disabled show in the preview element that disables the preview.
but in my android 2.2.3 studio, when i right click, nothing happens. Are there any settings I have to set? Did I miss something?

It seems that right-clicking on layouts in the layout inspector does not work in Android studio in windows, only I tried in ubuntu and its work, I see that in textbooks working in Mac only in bad windows does not work.
