Automatic FTP deployment: is there access to an automatic / programmable tool?

I need this

• View dir contents
• When changing the contents of dir
  • delete specific ftp folder
  • upload all dir contents to the same ftp folder

I absolutely do not know how best to accomplish this task.

I am looking for suggestions / ideas .... gulp? grunt? node? nope :)?

In fact, I do not know the build tools. Therefore, before trying / eliminating all the options, I ask you for suggestions.

EDIT: Please note that I am asking you to use the Continuos deployment tool that can monitor file changes and upload them to FTP.
