I installed and installed npm, node, and confirmed that they both exist. I also worked through the Angular 2 quick start guide and compiled and ran a demo application in my Mac environment. However, I cannot use Xcode to edit .ts files. Xcode associates files with the fast player and refuses to open in the Xcode editor.
