Android custom camera - crop image inside rectangle

Question

I have my own application for the camera, which has a rectangle centered in the center, as you can see below:

When I take a picture, I want to ignore everything that is outside the rectangle. The view has no relation to the camera or SurfaceView preview in my XML view as follows:
