Android 6.x webview undefined when switching context

Question

I am trying to automate a mobile application in android (6.0.1) using appium . I get an error like

No such context was found.

When switching from Native to Webview, I get Webview as

WEBVIEW_undefined

Please, help. thanks in advance

With the new UIautomator, you do not need to switch the driver to web browsing. It has built-in capabilities for identifying elements inside a webView.

Update your Android SDK once.

And also you can see elements inside webView on Android 6.0+ devices using UIAutomator.
