"Error writing to file" during SDK 7.1 Installation on Windows 10

Question

I am trying to install the SDK 7.1 on Windows 10. This seems like a difficult task for many people, I tried the following solutions:

• Answer # 1 to "Unable to install the Windows SDK 7.1 in Windows 10"
• Answer # 2 to “Cannot install the Windows SDK 7.1 in Windows 10"
• Why does the installation of the SDK 7.1 fail with the message “Installation error” on my Windows system?

In each case, I get one of the following errors:

Error 1304. Error writing to file: Microsoft.Build.CPPTasks.Common.dll. Make sure you have access to this directory.

or

Error 1304. Error writing to file: mscorcfg.dll. Make sure you have access to this directory.
