Drop Shadow effect in a universal Windows application

Question

I'm looking for an easy way to add a Drop Shadow effect like in WPF using only XAML. I would like to apply it for items in a ListView.

I did not find anything like this except for such experiments: https://blogs.windows.com/buildingapps/2016/09/12/creating-beautiful-effects-for-uwp/#BIRDSebvmJwAFY5Y.97

This seems to require a lot of code. I would like to avoid this.
