How to start DayDream Controller from Unity Editor?

I am developing a DayDream application and working with Pixel XL and a real DayDream controller (on a MacBook Pro). I would really like to be able to test using DayDream Controller when starting the application from Unity Editor. Currently, I am forced to make an assembly for every small change and kill it for me (slow).

I believe I can do this by connecting my Pixel XL via a USB cable to my Mac, and then using adb to configure it. But all attempts failed.

I don’t know about the real Daydream controller, but you can try using your phone as a DayDream Controller emulator.

, APK , , WiFi. Unity GvrControllerMain Wi-Fi. Assets/GoogleVR/Scripts/Controller/Internal/Emulator/EmulatorConfig.cs IP-, .

// IP address of the phone, when connected to the PC via WiFi.
public static readonly string WIFI_SERVER_IP = "192.168.0.78";//"192.168.43.1";

"" Unity, .

I had the same problem trying to get the emulator to work. The solution for me was to configure the player’s settings on Android and click on the VR-supported tab with the Daydream SDK selected in the VR SDK drop-down list before importing any day / year VR packages.

I spent a lot of trial and error to figure this out. Hope this helps.
