Google Datastore Cross-Region Replication

We have an application hosted in the USA and the EU. For great performance, we will place the data warehouse instance in both places.

Now we ask the question of how can we copy data from the US data warehouse to the EU data warehouse?

Or does it matter where we store data from a technical view?

There is no such thing as GAE multi-user applications (at least for now). The unique location of the application can be selected when the application is created and cannot be changed. See App Engine - how to create a project in the us-central region and the gae application goes to the eu data center or opens again

Important Note from Creating a Project and Application :

Important: Each Cloud Platform project can contain only one App Engine application, and you cannot change the region after you create the App Engine application.

Now the data warehouse itself can exist in only one cloud project, which also maps 1: 1 to a location. From Google Cloud Datastore :

Google Cloud Platform . , . :

  • europe-west -
  • us-central -
  • us-east1 -
  • asia-northeast1 - - -

App Engine Cloud Datastore (. https://cloud.google.com/about/locations/). , - . , . :

, , , . , Google Cloud Storage , ( ).

2 GAE, 2 , () .

, , , / API ( API ).
