How to see the memory usage of Azure App Service?

We have an Azure subscription through a cloud service provider (CSP), which causes some restrictions on what we can get and see in Azure. However, we can see processor and memory usage in terms of application maintenance .

How can we see the same for certain App Services as part of a plan?

If I see abnormal CPU / memory usage for a plan, how can I find out which App service is calling it?

You can check this on any site → scroll down to the "Metrics (application maintenance plan)" option. There you can see the indicators on all sites that are in the plan and filter the data the way you want:

For application service currently located:

  • Go to any site (application) that is part of the App Service plan
  • Click "Diagnose and solve problems"
  • Click "Performance Counters" (on the right side of the screen).
  • Check for example. check the box next to "Average working memory set."
