Material Design: Add a circular disclosure animation when switching between toolbars

I read the “Selection” section in the material development guide ( https://material.io/guidelines/patterns/selection.html ), and one effect that I wanted to add to my application was a circular animation when switching between the application bar and ActionMode ? Another toolbar?

Here is an example from the recommendations: https://storage.googleapis.com/material-design/publish/material_v_10/assets/0Bwp7jtSjaW36RGF3eUFsRkdqU1U/patterns_selection_item_controlling_desktop_click.webm

I did not find an explanation on how to do this. I don’t even know if they are using ActionMode or something else ...

Is there anyone who could give me a good direction?

change minSdk 21

edit 2: look at the status bar, which also changes itself ...

Thanks Francois

Finally, I found a solution.

This is not very good ... but I have no other idea to use something else, so if you have any other tips to share ... you can!

Below is the final result and code below:
