I use SonarQube.com online services for my Java Android project.
I ran into a few errors, where I checked the equality of strings with == instead of .equals ().
I found out that sonarqube has what seems like a good rule to look for these errors: Objects should be compared with "equals ()" . Unfortunately, this rule is disabled by default for the Java Sonarway Quality Profile .
My question is that I do not have administrator rights on the public server SonarQube.com , is there a way to activate this rule for my project?
The ability to customize quality profiles and calibration gates has not yet been implemented on sonarqube.com.
SonarSource teams are actively working on this feature. However, the release date cannot be estimated at the time of writing.
