So, I stumbled on what I would call a quirk in OracleCommand. By default, the parameter is BindByNameset to false. In this case, they will be applied to your request in the order in which they are added to OracleCommand, and not by the parameter name.
This caused me all sorts of grief, until I realized that the parameters do not apply to my request, as I expected.
Why do I want to do this? Is there a significant performance impact that I'm missing here, or is it just for compatibility with the previous version OracleCommand?
