"ClassNotFoundException: did not find the class in the DexPathList path" on API 19

Question

I am making an Android application with the target version of the SDK version 24 and the minimum version 19. It works fine at higher API levels, but when I try to run it at API level 19 it crashes with the following error:

I tried to change to what activity the application starts, but this also does not work. Multidex is included in the gradle settings.

I tried to clear it and reload it from the repository, but it just won't work.
