Complete After in elasticsearch

Question

I intend to use the Terminate After elasticsearch function to reduce the result set.

The question is, do the documents received when using Terminate After belong to the number of complete sets of documents or only to a reduced returned set?

Complete after the limit the number of search queries for each shard, so that any document that subsequently had a hit could also have a higher rating (higher score) than the one obtained from the highest ranked document, since the account used for ranking is not depends on other hits.
