I want to create a system of news recommendations (personalized news channels) based on user interest and interest of a user group (content-based filtering + collaborative filtering). Is there a public dataset for this? or any effective approach to creating a dataset?

Note: for those looking for news feeds here instead of recommendation ones, Kaggle for Headlines has over 15 years (to some extent Australia) and a smaller set of articles from the BBC .
