Error Code Pay-Pal 10486

Can someone follow the steps to reproduce this error code found in paypal dev document https://developer.paypal.com/docs/classic/express-checkout/ht_ec_fundingfailure10486/

I can not complete this step

  1. Replace the contents of the Line-1 address bar of the customer’s test credit card with CCREJECT-REFUSED.

When I try to save a map from the sandbox, I get this error: This card is not accepted. Use a different card.

I also tried changing the address during the check, which seems to be saved, but then does not lead to the required error code, which I need for my testing.

If you have access to a PayPal loan:

  • Place an order for ~ 600 USD
  • Start Express Verification Session
  • Choose a PayPal loan as a source of financing.
  • Attempted order processing

PayPal Credit will usually give you a credit limit of $ 587. Placing an order above this credit limit and attempting to place an order should cause error 10486. At this point, you can again call setExpressCheckout to restore the transaction, choosing a different funding source.
