I am trying to display a splash screen on BeagleBone Black using the LCD expansion board on a 7-inch chip. I am wondering how difficult it is with the latest U-Boot 2016? I see that there are some framebuffer drivers available (am335x-fb.c), but it is not clear how to configure U-Boot to use them. Can someone give some hints or for example, please?
