I am trying to implement my connection with C # with Notification Hub. I read almost all the lessons about the Azure Notification Hub, and I can’t find a decent tutorial that explains what actually matches what. I think there are two ways to present the device (from what I understood): installation and registration and installation seem newer and more preferable.
However, when I enter the installation, I have more questions:
What is InstallationId? Is it something that I create, or something that I get somewhere, either on the device or on the PNS.
Does it need to be configured ExpirationTime, or is it the longest by default (this says 90 days are the longest)? What if I want it to last more than 90 days?
What is PushChannel? Is it, like InstallationId, something that I create, or get from somewhere?
How exactly are templates used?
Of all these variables, which one is the actual device token I receive on the client?
Usually I don’t ask questions that look for answers to the textbook and answers, and I have many questions, but I tried to search everywhere, but the more I looked, the more complicated it was, t even know where to start. Any answer would be a good starting point for anyone trying to learn notification concentrators, just like me.
