Connect to Vertica from Datagrip

I use DataGrip and I am new to it. For me there is a case to connect to DB Vertica. As far as I know, there is no built-in driver for connecting to this type of database. What steps should I take to connect to it? Is there any driver to work?

You can add a jar of Vertica jdbc as a driver. Download it from the Vertica website, then:

  • Go to the "File / Data Sources" section
  • Right click and click Add / Driver
  • Give him a name
  • Select the downloaded jdbc jar file.
  • Set class com.vertica.jdbc.Driver
  • Dialect: PostgreSQL
