Grouped mirrored stripes on the x axis

Question

This is a cross reference from the rstats submode. I saw mirrored bars or grouped bars, but not mirrored and grouped bars. The closest I got is using “stacked”, but it doesn't seem to work on the x axis for negative values, and “dodge” shifts the related lines that need to be aligned:

I need green and purple bars under pink and blue stripes respectively. Does anyone know if this is possible in this library? Here is what I used:
