.Net Core Slow after Idle

I have a new .netcore web application deployed to an IIS instance of a Windows 2008R2 server, and after the application has been idle for some time, it slows down on first boot, and then subsequent requests are very fast.

In previous versions of .net, I changed the Idle Time-out property of the application pool in IIS to 0 to fix this problem. Is there a similar setup somewhere with .netcore, maybe something that I missed, I could add to the Startup.cs file?
