C # WPF application with MahApps that doesn't appear on Windows 2008

So this is weird.

I created a WPF application using MahApps for a graphical interface. So far, my testing shows that the application works fine on several different machines. Of course, this is not the case on the client machine.

The client uses Terminal Services and Windows Server 2008R2. Several users can log in to their version of the server at any time. The application starts normally once or twice, but after a day or so it no longer opens.

The application does not appear on the Application tab of the task manager, but its process can be seen on the Processes tab of the task manager.

To be honest, I'm completely at a dead end. I looked through the event manager log and did not find anything that might seem like a problem. (Of course, I could have missed something). I saw another SO question suggesting disabling hardware acceleration, but I don't want this to help.

Any ideas are welcome.

EDIT: I thought I could mention the only thing that helps if we restart the client machine.

EDIT: I think I highlighted this issue for integration with Twain (probably should have mentioned this as another possible factor). I think the Twain library (unmanaged code) somehow nods without sending back an error. Disabling this is "fixed."

This has something to do with Twain and multi-session settings. I am pretty sure about that.
