Android Studio cannot be updated, Ubuntu 16.04

Question

I am trying to update my android studio for the latest stable version that was recently released. 2.2 Stable since my current version 2.1.3 in Ubuntu shows the above android studio.

after that it just closes the android studio, and when it opens again, do not change its version 2.1.3

does this happen twice? how to solve this, since this is an update from Ubuntu for the first time?
