Updating and rebooting the studio does not work

Question

In the case of android studio or any other versions of jetbrains ide, updating and rebooting do not work. When I received a notification, a new update is available, I click "Update" and "restart". Android Studio downloads the update and reboots, but after restarting, the version of Android Studio remains the same. This happens for other reactive brains. I checked the following question but did not come to the rescue
