How to measure monthly / daily product sales using the Amazon Advertising API

I looked at the responses of the "ItemSeach ()" and "lookUp ()" functions in the Amazon Advertising API and could not find a possible way to get daily / monthly sales of the product.

Popular software for researching products, for example, JungleScout, ProfitPhonix, AMZ tracker, etc., shows the number of monthly sales, but they all show different results.

Does Amazon provide this information? If not, how does this software rate it?

I think that when they retrieve the ASIN information, they save “something” in their database and the next time the same ASIN is pulled again, then the estimated sales are roughly calculated based on the previous value / score of the database.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is not a solution, but the answer from UnicornSmasher I found can help save time searching for something that does not exist.

constantine We just took all the voluminous data from the products that are tracked in AMZ Tracker, and applied the formula for all this. If you have specific products that go away, please let us know! In some categories we had less data. This is version 1 of the research tool, so I’m sure that it will improve rapidly over time.

So now the question is: “What formula do they use?” Let me know if you come up with an idea :)
