ASP.Core Project Template for Visual Studio 2015

Question

I am trying to create a project template that I can reuse for multiple projects. I tried to export the template and make it vsix.

No matter what I do, whenever I use this template, it does not upload files, links, etc.

Is there any documentation or does anyone know how to create a template for ASP.core?

EDIT: I followed the instructions in the first link you gave me, but it still doesn't work. I do not get all the files that I made in my template. Any solutions?
