Why did the UINavigationBar turn off part of my UIBuilder but not turn it off during testing?

Question

As you can see in the image (in UIBuilder), the UINavigationBar probably occupies 60 pixels of space at the top, but this is NOT displayed in the simulator. The image that you see above, how I need to place these views so that they are as far away from the top status bar as they are from the side. How can i fix this?
