Guice Customization / Binding Recommendations

Question

How to configure Guice if you have a multi-level architecture (DAO, Services, Controllers)?

Should it be configured in the top layer (controllers)? Or should we customize in each layer? If so, how can they be brought closer together?

How about tests? How should it be? Thank.

According to general practice, the DAO is as light as possible and exists to provide a connection to the database.

A service layer exists to provide logic for working with data sent to and from the DAO.
