Xcode 8 debugging on ios 10 device not working

Question

I am running Xcode 8 and trying to run a debug build of my application on my phone. My phone has ios 10. When I run it, it freezes on the default screen. This works fine when I start the ios 9.3 device. The application is installed correctly, because if I stop debugging and start it directly from the phone, everything is in order. Does anyone have this problem and find a fix?

this also happened to me, make sure you select the whole output.
