I would recommend checking that the structure is UserNotificationsUImarked as optional and not mandatory in your project settings.

You can do it with

  • Opening a project Xcodein the project navigator.
  • Select targetand go to the tab Build Phases.
  • Expand the section Link Binary With Libraries.
  • Verify that the frame status is UserNotificationsUIset to Optional.

This ensures that the structure will not be forced into memory, which will lead to a crash in older versions of iOS.
