In the Apple API docs, an enumeration is listed as deleteSelf, but in my Xcode, the actual enumeration is similar deleteSelf- note the difference in capitalization at the beginning. Not much, but it took time to find out why he did not recognize this listing.

This is due to updated API Guides in Swift 3. Before Swift 3, case listings were to be written in UpperCamelCase, whereas now the standard has changed to lowerCamelCase. The inconsistencies you experienced may be due to the fact that you are not using Swift 3.0 yet.
