Download PyCharm Package Package

Question

The other day, I just downloaded PyCharm and wanted to download several packages. I am using Windows 10 with PyCharm 2016.2.2 and python 3.5.2. When I go to the screen of available packages, it constantly states:

Error loading package list: pypi.python.org

I was just trying to download BeautifulSoup, and I obviously missed something. Any help would be wonderful.

I am behind a corporate firewall and ran into this problem. All I had to do was go to Settings/Appearance and Behavior/System Settings/HTTP Proxyand check Auto-detect proxy settingsand it worked.

PyCharm OSX -, -:

• PyCharm> > > → HTTP-
• Or select Auto-detect proxy settings
• Or select Manual proxy settings
  1. Define the host name and port
  2. and, if necessary, Proxy Authentication
• Click Apply
