What happened to native2ascii executable in Java 9

I am trying to compile my application using java 9 and it does not work because native2ascii executable does not exist. Is it removed in Java 9? Is there any other tool that does the same thing?

Yes, native2ascii was removed in Java 9. From the error report, to remove it , "JEP 226 suggests supporting the UTF Properties file, which will refer to the original motivation for creating the native2ascii tool." For more information, visit JEP 226 .
