Preventing Java Applications Using Modified Jars

I am new to this thread. I am developing a standalone Java application. Once the distribution is ready, it consists of a set of cans. Is there a good sample to check if there were modified cans?

I read about signing banners and the Trusted-Only attribute in the manifest. This seems to be more information to the user that the application / applet belongs to a trusted publisher.

I would like to prohibit the launch of the application if it found that the banks were changed / not signed properly.
