Can I ship a Swift 2.2 app with Xcode 7.3 on iOS 10?

When iOS 10 comes out, can I send the App Store app app that works with Swift 2.2 and was created with Xcode 7.3? Or is it mandatory to switch to fast 2.3 or Swift 3 and create an application using Xcode 8?

Yes, you can.

Even macOS Sierra supports Xcode 7.3 (unlike Xcode 6 on El Capitan), so you can create your own applications in Swift 2.2 or Swift 3.

For submission to the App Store, the minimum version of Xcode 6.0. (October 2016)
