S2 Geofunctions in BigQuery?

I'm just wondering if there are any plans to add features for S2 geotextics in BigQuery?

It seems that many people have lat-long data in BQ - some s2 functions that fall into cells and vice versa, etc. would be very useful, of course, - they would gladly send a function request if they are not already there.
