Mount.nfs: the requested version of NFS or the transport protocol is not supported

Question

NFS Mount does not work on my RHEL 7 AWS instance.

When i do

mount -o nfsvers=3 10.10.11.10:/ndvp2 /root/mountme2/

I get an error message:

mount.nfs: requested NFS version or transport protocol is not supported

Can someone point me where I am wrong? Thank.

Check if the nfs service is starting or restart the nfs service.
