How to run Chrome extension in NW.js?

Question

This question is quite short and explanatory. I am wondering how I can run the Chrome extension in NW.js.

I know that you can run the application in NW.js, and I think you can also run extensions?

I can not find much on this subject. Back in 2013, the way to do this looked like this:

nw [path to manifest.json] --load-extension

Any ideas appreciated!
